Here's what we have found regarding the situation:
Timothy Pingel has sent us WU receipts and Anna's letters. They prove that it was Olga Kravchuk who received your money, not Anna. Olga and the agency simply wrote letters on behalf of Anna. Anna herself refused to correspond with Tim after his first letter, and when they met, after the meeting she told the interpreter that she didn't want to continue any relations with Tim, and he was told completely different thing. Anna found out about this only when Tim wrote to Angelika.net with the request to remove her as his bride from their database. That's the situation as it seems to be if we assume that Anna is a victim in this case as well as Tim.

Anna, am6547 - yes, she was reported as a scammer by Tim Pingel, but from the letters provided by the gentleman it looks more like the agency was scamming him, not the lady. There are no letters about "she said that she was going to come over here on a visa so that we can get married, but I was told that she met another man" - the letters provided on the web-site finish right when the gentleman was going to send money for the paper work - and it really takes money, and time, and efforts from BOTH sides, and it is much easier for a woman to go through this procedure with the help of the agency THAT HAS NECESSARY DOCUMENTS CERTIFYING THAT THEY CAN PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES - HELPING WITH THE FIANCEE VISA PAPERS.

Local agency in Odessa writes:
There are a few agencies in Odessa, who earn money in dishonest way. Anna Suhova became a victim to one of them. We have known her for a long time, she is a nice and sincere girl who, unfortunately, doesn't know English very well, and there are people who make fortune from her pictures. Anna is going to bring an action against one of the agencies, though we do not think she will win the case. About two months ago we received a letter from a gentleman who claimed Anna to be a scammer. We asked for proofs, like receipts about money transfers with her name and the like, but instead of this we received a letter with apologies:
Hello! To whom it concerns, A few weeks ago I sent you an email regarding Anna Sukhova. I thought she might be a scammer, but now I realize that I was wrong and I would like to apologize to you and Anna. I am man enough to accept when I am wrong. But please understand the situation that I am in. Back in April of last year, Anna and I started to correspond with each other through Scarlet Sails Agency. Apparently in May Anna left that agency and I was never told about it. After seeing her in Odessa last September, Olga of Scarlet Sails said that she wants to come over with me to America. After hearing that I received a letter asking for $500.00 for visa support. Not knowing the law, I sent the money on November 1, 2003. That was a mistake on my part. I have all email concerning our real and fake correspondence and WU receipts. Anna sent a letter recently to me after I contacted another site about her. Anna will always be in my heart no matter what happens. I care for her deeply. I do not know why this is so strong in me, but it is true. This situation has me frustrated, confused, and depressed. I did not want to hurt Anna's feelings and I regret it. She mentioned that she is going to take Olga to court and I am willing to help if any of my documents will help her. As I mentioned, I still do care for Anna and I want her to realize that she has a friend here. Please forward a copy of this message to her so that she knows my situation.
Thank You for your time,
Tim Pingel
